Armed robbery of medical marijuana dispensary

A medical marijuana facility in the 1600 block of Hampton Way in Santa Rosa was robbed on Sunday afternoon.

On August 20, 2017 at approximately 1:20 p.m. the suspect approached a dispensary employee in the parking lot. He showed her a black semiautomatic handgun and demanded she give him the marijuana she had in her car.

The victim complied and gave him approximately 200 marijuana cigarettes. The suspect walked away to a silver 4-door BMW sedan with tinted windows and a sunroof, possibly a 7 Series. He got into the passenger seat and the BMW drove away. Sheriff’s deputies, Henry 1, and Santa Rosa Police Department searched the area but were unable to find the suspect or the car.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or African-American male, late 20s, approximately 5’10” tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black shirt, black jacket, and black pants. There is no description of the driver.
