Avoid permanent eye damage & view the eclipse safely today!
As we're sure you've heard: today is the first solar eclipse viewable in Chicagoland since the 1970's and, if the weather cooperates, we want to make sure you view it safely. You can get serious and permanent eye damage from looking at the sun with the naked eye.

Also, remember your furry friends; pets can get also hurt their eyes viewing an eclipse so consider keeping them inside out view of the eclipse.
