SRJC: Free Off-Campus Student Parking & Shuttle for the Santa Rosa Campus

Santa Rosa Junior College is offering free off-campus parking and a free shuttle service for students of the SRJC Santa Rosa Campus.

When: Monday - Thursday, August 21 - September 14, 2017

Why: To provide options for students early in the semester, when the Santa Rosa Campus parking is in highest demand.

Where: Santa Rosa City Parking Garage – enter on 7th Street to 521 7th Street, between B Street & Mendocino Avenue.

When: Monday - Thursday, August 21- September 14. No classes on Labor Day, Monday, September 4.

How Students Get Free Parking:

Drive to Santa Rosa City Parking Garage. Enter at 521 7th Street (look for signs).

Enter parking lot; push button, get their parking ticket, and park.

Wait for the SRJC Shuttle on 7th Street directly across the street from the garage.

The free shuttle will run 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Thursday for the first 4 weeks of the semester.

Receive a free parking voucher from the shuttle driver.

Return to the Santa Rosa City Parking Garage by picking up the shuttle on the Santa Rosa Campus at Burbank Circle between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Thursday for the first 4 weeks of the semester.

Upon exiting the garage place the parking ticket into the machine. The machine will then ask for payment. Place the parking voucher into the machine. The parking will be paid and the student will be able to exit the garage.

Do students need to get a permit to park on campus after September 14: Yes, they will need a permit or a daily ticket to park on any SRJC campus or facility. They should be sure to get their parking permit in advance.

Student parking permits are available at the Santa Rosa Campus during registration at Plover Hall, at the Accounting Office in Bailey Hall or the Police Department (after hours only, as long as the permit was not ordered online), at the Petaluma Campus at the Accounting Office, and at the Public Safety Training Center at the Administration Office.

Is this available for employees: No, it is not. This program is designed to encourage student enrollment.
