New HPD phone number 
Due to circumstances beyond our control, effective immediately the Hamilton Police Department will no longer utilize the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for dispatch services. Our agency will be receiving calls and dispatching our officers to all non-911 related calls. There will be no change in the 911 system and 911 calls will still be handled in accordance with 911 guidelines and rules through a regional system.
This will be a positive change and will dramatically increase the quality of service to the citizens and visitors of the City of Hamilton. The City of Hamilton and its Police Department are excited about this change and the opportunity to increase our level of service to our community.
Please help us spread the word that if you need police assistance from the City of Hamilton Police Department our number will be 254-386-3805 / 911. For general inquiries such as questions, records or to speak to administration the number is 254-386-3810.
