Timely Warning - Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Eucalyptus Grove
UCPD Case # 17-02094
 
On Monday, August 14, 2017 at approximately 7:49 p.m. UCPD officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon which had just occurred in the Eucalyptus Grove near the West Crescent.  Witnesses at the scene told officers that the female victim, unaffiliated, was arguing with the male suspect.  The suspect hit the victim in the head with a large piece of wood which knocked her out.  The suspect left the scene walking southbound towards Oxford Street.  The victim suffered a head injury and was taken to a local hospital.  UCPD searched the area but could not locate the suspect.
 
The suspect was described as:
 
Unknown race male, approximately 5’10” in height, about 140 lbs., with a dark complexion, wearing a green shirt, brown pants and carrying a green suitcase.

  • Please do not delay in calling 911.  UCPD strongly encourages the reporting of criminal or suspicious activity in a timely manner to assist us in intervening in potential criminal actively and apprehending suspects.
