On March 14, 2017, at 1:23 p.m. Sergeant Tim Coomer and Deputy Jennifer Robb were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of South 1075 West to assist child protective services in their investigation. However upon arriving Sergeant Coomer and Deputy Robb opened their own investigation into a battery that had occurred prior to their arrival. At the end of their investigation 32 year old Justin Harris was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with battery. Mr. Harris remains in custody on a $650 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
