#011 Injury Collision
AT 11:30 a.m., Officer Hartman investigated an auto vs pedestrian collision in the area of Peralta and Fremont. The driver of a blue Chevy and a female pedestrian collided in the 3700 block of Peralta near Fremont Blvd. The female pedestrian was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

#005 Public Intoxication Arrest
Security at a local hospital called regarding an intoxicate male. Officer Haugh located and arrested an adult male for public intoxication near Stevenson Blvd and Civic Center.

#010 Under the influence
At 10:30 a.m., Officer Kwok arrested David Glover (44, Fremont) for being under the influence of illegal drugs following a disturbance on the 34300 block of Siward Dr.  

#015 Robbery Arrest
Three female suspects entered a store in the 43900 block of Pacific Commons Blvd. and attempted to steal over $660 worth of merchandise.  Loss prevention attempted to detain one of the suspects, but she bit and punched the loss preventions officer.  They were able to obtain a license plate number and the vehicle was snared.  Newark PD located the vehicle parked at a commercial/retain center in their City.  Street Crimes along with Newark PD, watched the car until the suspect emerged from the store.  The suspect came out from the store with more stolen items.  She was identified as Priscilla Porras (34, San Jose).  Porras was arrested for robbery, petty theft and her active arrest warrant for theft.   Case investigated by Officer LaStrape.

#027 Shoplifting
At 5:58 p.m., suspects entered a grocery store in the 40000 block of Mission Blvd. , selected some merchandise and left the store without paying.  The suspects got into their vehicle and an employee tried to stop him.  The suspect backed out and the employee had to move out of the way to avoid being hit.  Officer Gerber is investigating.
Suspect #1 –  White female in her 20’s, blonde hair and last seen wearing a pink dress.

#005 DUI Arrest
At 2:02 a.m., Officer Burch observed a vehicle driving westbound on Thornton Ave near Dusterberry Way driving with no headlights on.  Officer Burch pulled behind the vehicle and followed it westbound.  As he followed, the driver had difficulty maintaining lane control and almost struck the center median.  At Thornton Ave and Blacow Rd, Officer Burch activated his overhead emergency lights.  The vehicle slowed, but continued southbound onto Blacow Rd and then conducted a U-turn and traveled northbound.  The vehicle finally came to a stop on the right shoulder.  After a standardized field sobriety test, she was arrested for DUI.

Illegal Sideshow Activity
CHP and SJPD notified us of a large sideshow group around 11:30 p.m. headed our way.  The group started in San Jose then moved to Union City.  After they left UC, they made their way to Fremont and began sideshow activity at Pacific Commons, Fremont Blvd/Cushing, and Page/Milmont.  Sgt. Baca organized a response with our officers and coordinated with SJPD.  With the help of CHP, we were able to get them out of Fremont without incident. 
About an hour later, the group shut down I-880 northbound near Mowry Ave and started another sideshow.  It then moved to Hayward.

#010 Robbery (late reported)
A victim called to report that he had been battered and robbed at some point last night in the area of the Hub.  He had no real information and was transported to the hospital for treatment. 

#017 Indecent Exposure
A caller reported that two males were inside a coffee shop located at Fremont/Irvington smoking and refusing to leave.  When the reporting party exited the store, one of the males walked to the window of the business and exposed himself.  The suspect was described as a white male adult in his 20’s, grey shirt, jeans, no shoes, with a dog.  Investigated by Officer Contrada.

#026 Stolen Vehicle
At 9:39 p.m., Officer Roberts located a known stolen vehicle, 1995 Toyota 4Runner, that had been discussed in patrol briefing. Officer Roberts followed the car until cover units could arrive.  A traffic stop is made in the parking lot of and Brian Whitten (37, Livermore) is arrested without incident. The SUV was field released to the registered owner.

#021 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 6:23 p.m., Officers were sent to a convenience store in the 40800 block of Fremont Blvd. on the report of possible drunk male reporting someone just drove away in his car. Officers scour the area and initially can’t find the alleged victim. He gave a name over the phone to FPD Dispatch as Gino Torrez. Officers eventually located the male, who is actually Gene Garcia (49, Fremont) a few blocks away as business owners were calling in stating he was destroying furniture (near 5 corners). Garcia goes to jail for drunk in public and the stolen car story never materialized. Case investigated by Officer Taylor.

#011 Brandishing a Weapon/Resisting Arrest
At 10:17 a.m., Officer Liu was dispatched to a call of a male brandishing a knife in the 44000 block of Osgood Rd.  The suspect, Anthony Bertolini (31, Fremont) was contacted a short distance away.  While being detained, he began to resist and control holds were used to place him into cuffs.  He refused all medical treatment and would not provide a statement. 

#026 Possession of Burglary Tools, Shoplifting and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
At 5:06 p.m., FTO Hanrahan and Officer Godrich were detailed to a shoplifting incident at a retail store located in the 43700 block of Christy St.  Store security staff observed a female stealing items from the store and made the citizen’s arrest.  Officer Godrich provided a ride to Fremont City Jail for Rose Sarmiento (27, Fremont).  She was ultimately booked for possession of burglary tools, shoplifting and possession of paraphernalia.

#027 Assault with a Deadly Weapon
At 7:19 p.m., FPD officers responded to a church in the 36000 block of Fremont Blvd for a trespassing call.  The disturbance call came in and described 35 people playing the online game “Pokeman Go” on private property.  Property representatives asked the crowd to leave and remove their vehicles from the parking lot.  The investigation revealed that the property representative got into a vehicle and drove to block the driveway in an attempt to get people to leave the property.  While doing so, the driver nearly ran into a little girl.  At one point someone was sprayed with pepper spray.  The matter is being investigated by Officer Scherer. 

#034 Stolen Vehicle
 A white 2005 Ford Taurus was stolen from the area of Leslie/Stevenson.

#035 Strong-Arm Robbery Attempt (late reported)
At 9:30 p.m., Officers responded to a suspicious circumstance call to take a report for a robbery attempt that occurred earlier in the evening.  The victim stated someone to rob him when he was delivering a pizza in the 400 block of Woodview Terrace.   The suspect was described as a white male adult in his 40’s, 5’10” with a thin build.
