On 08/13/17 at approximately 3:58 A.M., officers of the Janesville Police Department were sent to the report of a traffic crash near the intersection of N. Pontiac Dr. and Lucerne Dr. A vehicle driven by Daniel Millis was traveling southbound, on N. Pontiac Dr., when it struck a legally parked vehicle. The impact caused the legally parked vehicle to strike another legally parked vehicle.
Millis admitted to consuming alcohol and displayed signs of impairment by intoxicants. Millis submitted to standardized field sobriety testing and failed. A check of his driving record showed 3 prior alcohol related convictions. Millis was subsequently arrested for OWI-4th offense. Millis submitted to an evidentiary chemical testing of his blood. The results of that test are pending. Millis was held for court at the Rock County Jail.
