Tip of the Week: Preventing Vehicle Burglaries
Whenever you leave your vehicle unattended, it is important that we secure our vehicles by raising all the windows and locking all the doors.  Additionally, we should NEVER leave high value items, purses, wallets, back packs, or gym bags in our vehicles where they are visible.  Unlike fishermen, thieves do not keep their favorite areas a secret.  When word gets out that an area or neighborhood is an ‘easy target’, it does attract crime.  Patrol deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station (myself included) do their absolute best to patrol our streets and keep our neighborhoods safe, but the best way to prevent crime is always though pre-established protective measures. Take care, and be safe.
