Scott Chandler, City of Jackson Engineer, along with Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), has approved the temporary road closure on all-lanes E. Chester Street Frontage Road, East & West bound lanes (under the Bridge overpass over Royal Street), has at the railroad crossing starting at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2017, until 5:00 p.m on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Please be advised of the road work & detour signs. West Tennessee Railroad will be repairing the railroad crossing and the asphalt. Should scheduling change, you will be notified.
