#008 Grand Theft / Late Report
Staff at a local high school reported that approximately $11,000 worth of football equipment was stolen from the gym during the summer break. The gym was reportedly left unlocked for several days as construction crews were in an out of the facility. It is believed the items were stolen sometime mid-July. School staff did not report the theft initially as they did not confirm the loss until after school was back in session and a proper inventory could be conducted. Investigated by CSO Romero.
 
#028 Injury Collision Motorcycle vs. SUV
Officers were dispatched to the 46500 block of Fremont Blvd concerning an accident involving a motorcycle.  Upon arrival, its determined that the female driver of the SUV made an emergency stop when traffic in front of her stopped suddenly.  Unfortunately the motorcyclist was unable to stop in time to avoid the SUV.  The motorcyclist lost control and crashed in the roadway.  The motorcyclist sustained non-life threatening visible injuries and was transported to a trauma center.  Both drivers had suspended licenses.  Traffic Officer A. Gregory documented the collision. 
 
#005 Robbery
At 3:37 a.m., officers responded to a robbery in the 4100 block of Central Ave.  Two suspects armed with a handgun entered a store and stole cash and cigarettes.   They fled on foot eastbound on Central Ave.  No associated vehicle was seen.  Case investigated by Officer Higgins.  The suspects were described as:
Suspect #1 Black male adult, late 20’s, black beanie, black hoodie, with a black bandana over his face, armed gun.
Suspect #2 Hispanic male adult, mid 20’s, camo jacket, black beanie. 
 
#001 Residential Burglary
At 11:21 p.m., officers responded to the 33400 block of Tunerstone Place to investigate a residential burglary that occurred sometime between 08/06/17 - 08/08/17.  The point of entry was the bathroom window.  There was no reported loss, but evidence that unknown persons had entered the house.
