Over 40,000 people attended day one of the Hard Summer Music Festival 2017 at Glen Helen Amphitheater

SUMMARY:
On Saturday, August 5, 2017, Glen Helen Amphitheater hosted "Hard Summer Music Festival 2017". Over 40,000 people were in attendance on the first day of the two day event.
During the event, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department made 17 arrests for charges ranging from public intoxication, outstanding warrants and possession and sales of narcotics. In addition 23 arrests were made by California Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) for drug and alcohol charges. Those arrested were booked into the West Valley Detention Center or cite released.
Six concert attendees were transported to local area hospitals for treatment regarding their medical condition.
