Deputies arrest Daniel Davilla, a transient in Victorville, for robbery

SUMMARY:
On August 4, 2017, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the Office Max store on Amargosa Road for a reported robbery.
The suspect entered the store, picked up a printer and began to leave without paying. Employees tried to stop the suspect, at which time he pushed and hit one of them. The employees were able to retrieve the printer before the suspect fled the location and crossed Interstate 15.
Deputy D. Fratt located the suspect in the desert area near Cottonwood Avenue. The suspect, identified as 31-year old Daniel Davila, was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for robbery.
The store employee refused medical assistance at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
