Riverside Township is releasing information about a recent crime.
On 12/29/09 units were dispatched to the area of Dauphin St. and Harrison St. for the report of a vehicle that had just driven up onto a lawn and almost struck a house. Police units located a vehicle matching the callers description. Upon furhter investigation the driver, a Mahmoud Jackson age 23, from Philadelphia was arrested for suspicion of DWI. Upon a search of the defendant subsequent to arrest police discovered a fully functional and activated Stun Gun in the suspects pocket. Also located in the suspects vehicle was a large metal pipe and 13 aditional fully funtional Stun Guns. The defendant was lodged in the County Jail pending a court hearing.
