The UMTPD has an important message for you! *National Night Out is tomorrow!!*

For those who didn't receive our message from Friday, please see below. The weather looks great and we're ready for an amazing night!

We just wanted to send a brief update on National Night Out 2017, scheduled for next Tuesday, August 1st at Lone Lane Park (30 Lone Lane) from 5-8 pm. We have begun our setup and finalization process with all of the agencies that are attending, and things are rolling right along!

For starters, we have reached our minimum vehicle requirement for our car show, so the show is a go! Plus, Rock Guard Film, a local business, has volunteered to sponsor the event, and has donated a front bumper SunTek film application to the winner of the People’s Choice award! In addition, Obsessive Car Detailing of Slatington has donated a full detail to the winner of our Kids Choice award, and Kuhnsville Car Wash has donated gift certificates as door prizes. The winners of these great prizes will be picked by attendees of National Night Out. Yes, you pick the winners! One last note, it is not too late to register your vehicle, so if you are interested, please contact Lt. Peter Nickischer

In other news, we have another late addition- a touch-a-truck display of some of our local tow truck companies, including Yocum Towing’s heavy-duty rotator! Your kids (and maybe some parents) won’t want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to try out this amazing piece of equipment!

Take a look below at what else will be happening at this free, family friendly event! We look forward to seeing you there!
