Pocatello Fire Department Report for Monday July 31, 2017 
The department responded to 74 calls for service over the weekend including calls for emergency medical service, carbon monoxide activation’s, downed power line, an unauthorized burning, fire alarm activation’s, and a motor vehicle accident.

As college students will soon be heading off to college. We want to remind everyone to make sure their residences not only have smoke alarms, but they work. Please make sure that you check your smoke alarms. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 3 out of 5 people that die in fires, died in places that did not have working smoke alarms. If you need assistance in obtaining a smoke alarm or helping checking an alarm contact your local fire department.
