The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flood Warning for Small Streams in... South central Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...

* Until 845 AM EDT

* At 442 AM EDT, stream gauges indicate flooding is imminent along Mill Creek near Bunker Hill. This area received up to 3 inches of rain Friday evening. Other streams in the area may also be experiencing flooding.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include... Martinsburg, Inwood, Vanville, Ridgeway, Martinsburg Airport and Bunker Hill.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY

Instructions:

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots.
