Public Assistance Requested to Identify Suspect
 
 
            Dearborn, Mi. — On July 21, 2017 the Dearborn Police Department responded to the CVS Pharmacy located at 10335 Warren Avenue on a strong armed robbery that had just occurred. On scene the employee told officers that a black male, with a muscular build, approached the counter to purchase merchandise.  When the clerk opened the register, the suspect leaned over the counter and forcibly took the cash from the register.  The female clerk attempted to prevent the theft, but the suspect pushed her away and fled the scene on foot.
                The suspect is described as a black male, tall, with a muscular build, wearing a red shirt and black pants.  The Dearborn Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this incident.  Anyone with information is asked to call 313-943-2241 or if you wish to remain anonymous you can call 1-800-CrimeStoppers.  Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for the information leading to the arrest of the suspect in this case.
            Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “The boldness of this act is disturbing, as this suspect committed this act with no concern for the employee or other shoppers.  The Dearborn Police Department is hoping someone can identify this suspect before his actions result in greater violence.”
