Incidents 336 Reports 39

#001 Warrant Arrest
Officers were conducting a security check at the Train Depot in Centerville when they locate Richard Campbell (M38, Fremont) who had a warrant.  Officer Austin arrested Campbell for the warrant and also violated his 290 status, because he was out of compliance.

#038 Possession of Burglary Tools
At 10:14 p.m., While Officer T. Roberts was patrolling in Niles, he located two people, Frank Torrano (M28, Newark) and Joaquin Beza (M26, Fremont).  During his contact Officer Roberts learns both are on probation and Beza had a warrant for his arrest.  Both are searched per their search clause, which reveals each had burglary tools in their possession.  Officer Roberts arrests both without incident.

#040 Mental Health Hold
Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a male walking around with a knife and blood on his shirt.  The reporting party advised he was talking about harming animals.  Officers arrived and located the male, still armed with a large knife.  The male was not compliant and ran.  After a short foot pursuit, the male was taken into custody. Officer Wong placed the male on a mental evaluation hold and documented the incident.

#025 Vehicle Theft
CSO Tsai took a stolen vehicle report from Motel 6 (south). Stolen was a 2002 White Ford Pick-Up, 6X93082, with black racks and tool boxes.

#026 Scam
A reporting party came to the PD to make a report of fraud.  The reporting party paid another male $16,300 for a VISA that was supposed to be produced in two weeks. It’s now been 7 months and he has not received his VISA. Documented by Officer Robinson

#032 Shooting
At 6:57pm Fremont Dispatch received a 911 call where the reporting person stated someone just shot from a vehicle into a house. Multiple officers responded to the area of Sunstar and Northwind Tr.  to investigate. Initially a victim could not be located, but after expanding the search area, officers located a male victim suffering from what appeared to be a non-life threatening single gunshot wound. The victim was extremely uncooperative.  It appears this may have occurred during a drug deal. Officers are still investigating.

#026 Under the Influence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Officer Cavaz conducted a traffic stop in the area of San Pedro and Balboa.  Two suspects riding in the vehicle were arrested for narcotic violations and they were identified as Patrick Landin (M49, Union City) and Eric Cruz (M50, Fremont).

#001 Robbery
At 11:06 p.m., officers respond to the 41700 block of Grimmer Blvd on a shoplifting turned robbery.  Per the clerk, three suspects entered the store and attempted to steal a case of beer.  The clerks tried to stop the suspect and a fight ensued.  One of the clerks was hit in the eye by a windshield wiper and also possibly suffered a broken finger during the struggle.  Suspects ran out of the store.  Officers searched the area for the main suspect with negative results.  Officer Dubowy is the case agent and investigation is on-going. 

#002 Robbery
Shortly after the above call, a large party off of Jamestown Rd. was occurring.  This party started out as somewhat of a small party but after a social media blast, the party grew and several uninvited guests arrived.  As two of the invited guests were walking outside, 4 suspects in black hoodies approached two victims.  Two of the suspects had handguns and robbed them at gunpoint.  Several personal items were stolen.  Contact was made at the party.   Officers were able to convince the responsible to shut the party down.  Investigation ongoing.

#005 Auto Burglaries
While patrolling in the area of Pacific Commons Blvd., Officer C. Gonzales attempted to stop a blacked out dark colored vehicle driving at a high rate of speed.  The vehicle accelerates and fled away on Boscell Road.  No pursuit was initiated and the vehicle left the area.  A short time later, Pacific Commons Security called and reported three auto burglaries had occurred.   Case forwarded to detectives for follow up.

#020 Suspended Driver’s License
At 4:15 p.m., Officer Gaziano stopped a vehicle on Corrigan Drive and Eggers Drive.  He cited a male for driving with a suspended license.

#024 Drug Paraphernalia
At 7:08 p.m., Officer Vucurevich conducted a pedestrian stop on Ford Lane.  A probation search of Constance Hannett (F34, Fremont) yielded a glass smoking pipe.  She was cited and released.

#028 Suspended Driver’s License
At 9:17 p.m., Officer Berrier stopped a vehicle at Grimmer Blvd and Blacow Road.  He cited the driver for a suspended license.

#017 Drunk in Public
At 2:37 p.m., officers were dispatched to Niles Park on the report of a male swinging a club around and yelling at people.  During a canvass, Officer Vucurevich located Juan Ramirez (M43, Fremont) and arrested him for public intoxication.

#002 Vandalism and Battery
At 1:00 a.m., the street racing crew decided to side-show near Fremont Blvd. and Northport Loop.  While performing, they vandalized the property and assaulted a security guard at a business.  They left behind some gang graffiti and approximately $3000 damage to the security guard’s vehicle.  Case investigated by Officer Paiva.

#009 Under the Influence Arrest
Officer Haugh and Macciola responded to a call of a male on a bench smoking methamphetamine at I St./Niles Blvd.  Albert Nielsen (M44, Fremont resident) was contacted and arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

#024 Warrant Arrest
At 4:15 p.m., Officer Blanchet was dispatched to a panhandling call in the area of Stevenson Blvd and I880.  He located Kenneth McHugh (M25, Fremont) near Stevenson Blvd and I-880.  He was cited for an outstanding warrant.

#019 Under the influence
Twice officers were dispatched to a welfare check on a male who was wandering around on Country Drive.  Officers responded out and on the second call, they located Kevin Marlais (M28, Santa Cruz) .  He was cooperative, but found to be under the influence.  Marlais was arrested and booked at Santa Rita Jail.

#026 Warrant Arrest
At 5:35 p.m., officers responded to an address on the 48000 block of Fremont Blvd for a suspicious vehicle.  Officer Rodarte contacted Edward Lopez (M38, Fremont) who was next to the vehicle.  He was found to have an outstanding warrant.  He was arrested and booked at FPD Jail.

#003 Possession of Methamphetamine
At 3:54 a.m., Officer Paiva was on patrol in the area of Irvington Community Park.  He observed a female riding a bicycle northbound on the sidewalk (Fremont Municipal Code 10.10.040), and the bike was not equipped with lights (VC21201(d)). He made contact with Stephanie Lamb (F33, Fremont) and she was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
