Spring Grove Area NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME! -Tuesday Aug. 1, 2017, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

The Spring Grove Area will celebrate "National Night Out Against Crime" on:
Tuesday August 1, 2017 from 6 pm – 9 pm
Location: to the rear of the Spring Grove Area C & MA Church, 213 North Main Street, Spring Grove

“Every resident wants minimum crime and disorder in their neighborhoods and also to eliminate the fear of crime. These ideals are achievable when police and communities work together. This "Night Out" helps to build these relationships.” Chief Greg Bean

We also want to emphasize the motto of the Department of Homeland Security , “If you see something, say something.” This idea encourages residents, who know their neighborhoods better than anyone, to alert your police department when necessary. If you see something that seems suspicious to you, then partner with us and let us take a look into the matter. We will have additional information regarding several ways that you can contact us.

Police and Fire equipment will be displayed. Police Officers will be on hand as we welcome our communities for some great interaction and information as we come together for a common cause.

We have games and lots of prizes to give away ! Stuff for the kids! Free Dietz & Watson hot dogs & drinks & snacks!

Some of the people and organizations in attendance:
> Rep Seth Grove
> Free York Revolution Baseball Tickets!
> Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce
> Spring Grove Regional Parks & Rec
> Spring Grove Historical Society
> Sonnewald Natural Foods, Spring Grove
>Southwestern Regional Police Officers & Equipment
> Friendship Hose Fire Co – Spring Grove

If you can't join us that night, we encourage residents to turn on their exterior residential lighting as a symbol of unity within our neighborhoods. Lighting is still the best and least expensive crime deterrent that exists!
