On July 22, 2017, at 3:44 a.m. Deputy Ben Kiesel conducted a traffic stop on a Maroon 1998 Dodge Dakota for erratic driving on US 41 near County Road 550 North. During a roadside investigation Deputy Kiesel detected the odor of alcohol coming from the passenger 18 year old Preston Workman of Princeton. At the finish of Deputy Kiesel’s investigation Mr. Workman was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Minor Consumption of Alcohol. He remains in custody on a $450 bond. The driver did not test for alcohol and was released from the scene.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
