Deputies locate a stolen vehicle at a Victorville residence; Michael Haro was arrested for the theft

INCIDENT: GRAND THEFT AUTO/ POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
SUSPECT: Michael Haro, 26 years old, resident of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, July 20, 2017 at approximately 3:30 am, unknown suspect(s) stole a 1991 maroon Honda CRX from a residence on North Willow Avenue in Rialto. The victim reported his vehicle stolen to Rialto Police Department who broadcast the information to surrounding law enforcement agencies.
As result of the investigation, on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at approximately 12:21 pm, the vehicle was located in the back yard of a residence in the 14200 block of Maricopa Road in Victorville. The vehicle was found covered with a car cover and the suspect, identified as Michael Haro, had started the process of stripping the vehicle.
Michael Haro was arrested for grand theft auto and possession of stolen property. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
