LOCATION: US Highway 395
SUMMARY:
On July 20, 2017, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a major injury traffic collision on US Highway 395, near Palmdale Road.
A 2001 BMW, occupied by three adult males, was traveling northbound on Highway 395. The driver lost control of the vehicle, skidding across the number two lane, and hitting the curb. Upon hitting the curb, the vehicle overturned several times. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and one passenger was partially ejected. Both men were flown to a trauma center with major injuries. The other passenger was uninjured.
It appears alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision. A portion of one northbound lane was closed for several hours as deputies conducted the investigation.
