On July 19th and 20th 2017 there was several larcenies from autos in the area of Rabbit Run and Sagebrush. Several items were taken including computers, sun glasses, money and other electronic equipment. SEVERAL OF THE VEHILCES WERE UNLOCKED. Scio Township Deputies are investigating the larcenies.

Burglars are opportunistic and look for the easiest way in and out. The more you can secure your property the less likely you are to have your automobile broken into.

-Secure valuables out of sight
-Lock the vehicle doors
-Do not leave GPS/ Smartphone holders in view
-Do not leave paperwork in your vehicle with personal information
-Pay attention to your surroundings when exiting your vehicle
-Report any suspicious persons immediately
