On 07/19/17 at 2250 hours, officers of the Janesville Police Department were sent to an armed robbery call at the Stop-N-Go Gas station, located at 714 Center Ave.
A single suspect entered the store, demanded money from the clerk, and fled the scene on foot. A knife was displayed by the suspect. The suspect stole an undetermined amount of money. No one was injured during this incident.
Several officers responded to the scene and immediate area. A Janesville PD K9 team tracked the suspect from the scene however the suspect was not located. The Investigations Division also assisted with the investigation. Officers are reviewing video surveillance and this remains an on-going investigation.
Suspect Description
Male White, 20-35, approximately 5’10” to 6’00”, 150 to 200 lbs.
Last seen wearing: Dark baseball style hat, Dark oversized shirt, shorts, and sandals
