Police Arrest 4 Juveniles on Burglary, Conspiracy and Drug Charges

HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – July 19, 2017 – Police arrest 4 juvenile males after responding to a report of a burglary in progress at Cerra Vista School.  Property found on the juveniles linked them to another burglary at Calvary Christian School.   
 
On Friday July 14, 2017 at about 3:50 pm, Officers responded to a report by a neighbor of a burglary in progress at Cerra Vista School.  Officers responded quickly and surrounded the school before entering to investigate.  Upon entry, officer found 4 suspects close to a classroom that had been broken into.  The four suspects fled from police in different directions but 3 were quickly arrested after a short foot pursuit within the campus and the fourth suspect was arrested a few blocks away.
 
During the course of the investigation evidence was found linking the juveniles to the burglary at the school as well as another burglary that occurred at Calvary Christian School located a short distance away.  One of the juveniles was also found in possession of Marijuana and the juvenile told police the Marijuana belonged to all four of them.
 
The juveniles, a 12 year old, a 15 year old and two 17 year olds, were arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall on the charges of burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of Marijuana under the age of eighteen.
 
The Hollister Police Department would like to thank the witnesses who came forward in this case and would like to continue to encourage an active partnership with our community members to prevent and stop criminal activity.
