Attempted burglary, 600 block of Chartier St. Property recovered nearby, unknown owners. 
On 07-18-17 at 02:15 a.m. Officers responded to the 600 Block of Chartier St for an attempted burglary. Two unknown suspects dressed in all black were attempting to make entry into the rear access door of the attached garage. The homeowner yelled at the suspects and they ran away on foot. Officers searched the area with the assistance of J.P.D. K9 Grand, but were unable to locate the suspects.
Officers located several purses, an airsoft gun, a gps, mp3 player and several bottles of alcohol in Marquette park. The police department has been unable to locate all of the owners of the recovered property.
