Athens Co Flash Flood Watch
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Athens County from 12PM, Thursday, 7/13/17 until 12AM, Saturday, 7/15/17.
A frontal system is expected to pass through the region later today and Friday. Storms associated with it could produce excessive rainfall. This rain coupled with the wet soils across the area could produce flash flooding, especially along small streams, creeks, low spots and poor drainage areas.

flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
