Motorcyclist Involved in Fatal Collision on Milliken at 4th Street in Ontario.

LOCATION: Milliken Ave./Arrow Rt., Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT: Adult male – name withheld pending family notification
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 12:47 a.m. a Rancho Cucamonga deputy observed a black motorcycle with no license plate in the area of Milliken Ave. and Arrow Rt. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and the motorcyclist fled southbound on Milliken Ave. As the deputy began pursuing the motorcycle, the motorcycle quickly reached speeds over 100 mph. The deputy terminated the pursuit at 4th Street and returned to Rancho Cucamonga. Moments later, dispatch received information from Ontario Police Department of a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision at Milliken and the I-10 freeway. The motorcyclist struck a Toyota and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
Ontario Police Department is investigating the fatal collision.
