Yesterday, Jonesboro PD join forces with the Clayton County Sheriff's Office for Sheriff Victor Hill's Operation "Shadow of the Bat" which resulted in locating and arresting 18 wanted persons.

The most noteworthy arrest was that of Shae Jahrod Callahan.  Callahan was just about to make the High Sheriff's most wanted list for taking a AK 47 and firing it several times at a man placing the entire community at risk in the area of 221 Upper Riverdale Rd.

Callahan received a visit from the Elite Fugitive Squad early yesterday during the operation while he was still in bed with a female friend and a small child.  While still sleepy, he was taken into custody without incident.   The AK-47 that was used in the crime was located in bedroom and seized.

Callahan is now facing the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail.
