Subject: Vehicle/Motorcycle Crash
At 1:40pm on July 4th, 2017, Sun Prairie Police along with Sun Prairie Fire Department and Sun Prairie EMS responded to a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash that occurred near the intersection of Prairie Lakes Dr. and S. Grand Ave.
The operator of the motorcycle sustained significant injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The operator of the silver vehicle did not report any injuries. Prairie Lakes Dr., between Hoepker Rd. and S. Grand Ave., was shut down for a period of time for scene processing. Dane County Sheriff’s Office assisted with a crash reconstruction.
At this point, the investigation is still on-going.
