Synopsis: The victim a 63 year old Hispanic male was at his camp and got into an argument with an . Other transient witnesses heard the victim yelling, then about five or six minutes later the witnesses heard what sounded like a fire. They went over to the victims tent and found the victim's tent on fire, partially cover the victim with a pallet on top of him. Two witnesses pulled the victim out of the fire and one called 911. The witnesses saw a male hiding in the bushes watching what was happening. This subject stayed in the area until police and fire arrived on scene, then wanted to leave. The subject was detained by police and subsequently arrested. The victim was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries and is in serious condition. Area detectives and MAST responded to the scene and are investigating.

Synopsis: Caitlin Sullivan (04-10-1984) was visiting from Colorado. She was at the beach with her cousin and boyfriend. Sullivan and her boyfriend went into the water on surfboards to watch the fireworks. Sullivan isn't a strong swimmer and had been drinking. When the fireworks were over they started back to shore. Her boyfriend gave Sullivan a push to help her towards the shore. When the boyfriend got to shore Sullivan wasn’t there. And that was the last time she was seen. Sullivan is describes as white female, 33 years old. She is 5'7", 145 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black wetsuit and a black two piece bathing suit. Sullivan has a tattoo on her back, 3 hash marks on her right abdomen and a Celtic heart on her right ankle. Anyone with information of Sullivan's whereabouts are asked to call SDPD at (619) 531-2000.

Synopsis: The suspect, a 52 year old white male, pulled up to the location in his truck. The victim, a 6 year old Laotian male was leaving a family gathering. The victim walked out to the family's vehicle ahead of his parents and was waiting at the door. The suspect walked up behind the victim and picked him up from behind. The suspect placed the victim in the front seat of his truck, told him to lay down and not say anything. The suspect's truck wouldn’t start and asked family members for a jump. Family members were helping the suspect jump start his truck. The victim's parents came out looking for the victim. Family members started looking for the victim, while the suspect continued to jump his truck. One of the family members came to the truck to ask the suspect to help look for the victim and saw the victim in the front seat. The victim's family held the suspect at the location until police arrived. The suspect was arrested at the scene. Area detectives are investigating.
