Macy’s Firework display will be held this year on the East River
There will be limited to no viewing of the display from
Boulevard East and the Waterfront area
Road Closures
Boulevard East - Boulevard East from 51st st to 60th st will be closed
at approx. 7:30pm on July 4th.
The closing will depend on the amount of pedestrian
and motor vehicle traffic along Boulevard East, if the
determination is made to close the road it will be made
by 7:30pm.
Port Imperial Blvd. - Port Imperial Blvd. will possibly be closed from the
Weehawken Boarder to the Guttenberg
Boarder at approx. 7:30pm on July 4th.
The closing will depend on the amount of
pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic along
Port Imperial Blvd., if the determination is made to
to close the road it will be made by 7:30pm.
NOTE: THE ABOVE ROADS WILL BE RE-OPENED WHEN DEEMED
SAFE FOR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC.
Parking Restrictions
Boulevard East - There will be NO PARKING on Boulevard East between
The hours of 12:00pm and Midnight. From 51st to 60th st
on the East and West sides of Boulevard East.
Note: Any Vehicles parked on Boulevard East between the
above mentioned times will be ticketed and towed.
PROHIBITIONS
1) NO Backpacks or Coolers permitted on Boulevard East from
12:00 pm to Midnight
2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages will not be permitted.
3) No Fireworks, including sparklers will be permitted.
4) Barbeques on balconies or terraces are not permitted.
5) Use of rooftops for viewing of Fireworks or any other activity is
Prohibited and will be strictly enforced. Landlords and / or
property owners are responsible for keeping rooftops clear of people.
VISITORS
Residents: If you plan to have visitors to your home, they must arrive as early as possible. THEY MUST ARRIVE BEFORE THE ROAD IS CLOSED.
The road closure will occur anytime after 7:30pm. or earlier if conditions
warrant. Due to traffic conditions or road closures, we recommend that
guests arrive prior to 6:00pm.
THE ABOVE RESTRICTIONS ARE NECESSARY IN ORDER TO
ENSURE THAT ALL RESIDENTS HAVE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE HOLIDAY.
