Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male white adult, which occurred Sunday, July 02, 2017, at approximately 1:33 a.m., at 70^th Street East, South of East Avenue M, Palmdale.
 
Detectives learned that Palmdale Station deputies responded to a "medical rescue" call. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered the victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
 
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no suspect information at this time.

The investigation is on-going.
