Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing to assist Baldwin Park Police Department personnel investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman that was discovered Friday, June 30, 2017, at approximately 2:00 PM, in the 13900 block of Francisquito Avenue, Baldwin Park.
 
Detectives have learned Baldwin Park Police Department personnel responded to the location regarding a “Keep the Peace” call.  Upon their arrival, officers discovered a female Hispanic adult who had sustained trauma to her upper body.  The trauma was caused by an unknown object.
 
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
A male adult who was also located inside of the location, is being detained, pending an interview with detectives.
 
There is no additional information available at this time, and the investigation is on-going.
