Community

In an effort to provide quality service, the Green Bay Police Department is conducting a community survey.

In an effort to provide quality service, the Green Bay Police Department is conducting a community survey. We as a department are constantly evaluating our level of service to ensure we are providing the citizens of this community the best possible service. We will forever work with the community, as we would not be able do our jobs without you. Together, we will build trust, reduce crime, create a safe environment, and enhances the quality of life in our neighborhoods.

We cannot fulfill our mission without you! We hope you will take this survey as it will assist us in evaluating our services and equally as important gauge the public’s perception of crime and disorder. “Statistics can tell us whether crime is increasing or decreasing, said Police Chief Andrew J. Smith. “We want to hear from the community on our strengths and weaknesses and what we need to work on to maintain the family orientated, safe, and enjoy community we have” said Smith.

The method of evaluating the survey results is based on the geographic areas of the city. The City of Green Bay is Divided into four districts “A, B, C, and D.” District Captains LePine (A), Knoebel (B), Laux (C), and Florence (D) oversee the districts and are constantly developing crime reduction strategies to reduce crime and ensure the safety of the community. By surveying the districts, District Captains will hear the strengths and weakness unique to their specific neighborhoods. Although the survey results are broken down by district, be assured that your individual responses remain anonymous. We ask that the survey be completed by July 14th, 2017.
