Homicide detectives are investigating the murder of a man who was shot and killed early this morning

VICTIM: Daniel Garcia, age 43 of Victorville

The victim has been identified as Daniel Garcia, age 43 a transient of Victorville.

On Thursday, June 29, 2017, at approximately 1:21 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 15500 block of Hesperia Road following the report of shots heard and a subject down. Deputies and fire personnel arrived at the location and located a male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators from the Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, responded to the location and are currently conducting the investigation.
