Residents and visitors to the Borough of Deal, Borough of Interlaken and the Village of Loch Arbour may notice a small change to our officers uniforms.

During evenings and special events our officers utilize our department's Class B uniform. We have recently been approved to wear an outer vest carrier.

This simply means officers wear their bullet resistant vests on the outside of the uniform. This also provides officers with a tremendous amount of relief by removing some of the required equipment officers wear on their duty belts and placing them in various pouches and pockets on the outer carrier. This will be especially helpful during the hot summer months ahead.
