On June 13th, APD detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on the transmitting and receiving of material believed to be child pornography on Yahoo Messenger. The information provided led officers to a computer at the Region 16 building at 5800 S. Bell and a computer at a residence in the 17600 block of Spring Lake in Canyon. Detectives were able to link both computers to Neal Edmond Brown a 45 year old male who is employed with Region 16. Detectives ran search warrants on both computers and on 6-22-17 arrested Brown for one count of possession with intent to promote child pornography. He was booked into the Randall County Jail.
