The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Perry County in southeastern Ohio... Northern Washington County in southeastern Ohio... Northwestern Jackson County in southeastern Ohio... Morgan County in southeastern Ohio... Athens County in southeastern Ohio... Vinton County in southeastern Ohio...

* Until 600 AM EDT

* At 136 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated that heavy rain fell across the warned area. Flash flooding is still occurring.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Athens, Marietta, Nelsonville, New Lexington, Glouster, McConnelsville, Mcarthur, Beverly, Shawnee, Chesterhill, Lake Hope State Park, Crooksville, Chauncey, New Straitsville, Malta, Corning, Buchtel, Lowell, Stockport and Jacksonville. Flood waters are moving down Duck Creek and the Little Muskingum in Washington County. At 1 AM the stage is 11.07 feet at Whipple on Duck Creek. Duck Creek is expected to crest around 12 feet later this morning and then start to fall. Bankfull stage is 11 feet. At 1 AM the stage is 17.77 feet at Bloomfield on the Little Muskingum. The Little Muskingum is expected to crest around 18 feet later this morning and then start to fall. Bankfull stage is 16 feet.
