The City of Santa Clara and the Santa Clara Rotary are joining forces for the 2017 Silicon Valley Barbeque Championships. The competition will be held in Santa Clara's Central Park, 909 Kiely Boulevard, on Friday, June 23, from 4:00-10:00pm and Saturday, June 24, from 11:00am-8:00pm.
This competition is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society and is the 2nd largest championship event on the West Coast. Admission is free. Join the Santa Clara Police Department in Central Park for slow-cooked meats, live music and Kids Zone!
For those indulging in the craft brew garden, remember drinking and driving is a dangerous combination and illegal. Plan ahead - appoint a designated driver, walk to and from the event and/or take public transportation.
Proceeds benefit the Santa Clara Rotary Foundation.
