* High Temperatures...112-118 Thursday through Saturday, 115 to 120 Sunday, and 112-118 Monday.
* Impacts...A major increase in the potential for heat related illness and even death. Those working or exercising outdoors during the daytime, children and the elderly, and those without access to adequate air conditioning will be most at risk. A higher risk of tire blowouts.
* Outlook...Gradually cooler conditions less week but still above normal.
* AFFECTED AREAS: COACHELLA VALLEY ... SAN DIEGO COUNTY DESERTS ... SAN GORGONIO PASS NEAR BANNING

Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when possible and drink plenty of water.
