Palmdale Deputies Arrest Multiple Suspects on Several Felony Charges
Palmdale Sheriff’s Deputies arrest multiple suspects on several felony charges from the Los Angeles area in a Palmdale motel parking lot.
On Sunday, June 18th, at approximately 6:40pm, Palmdale deputies were conducting a routine patrol check of the parking lot of Motel 6 located at 407 West Palmdale Blvd, when they observed 36 year-old Jose Rodriguez, sitting in a stolen vehicle holding a methamphetamine pipe. During the search of the vehicle, deputies found methamphetamine, a “Billy Club” and numerous hand tools, that were later determined stolen.
After a thorough investigation, deputies determined Rodriguez was staying at the motel with his girlfriend, 25 year-old Long Beach resident Christian Crampes and their associates, 40 year-old Janeth Sanchez and 28 year-old Jose Mercado, who all traveled to the Palmdale area to sell several car loads of stolen power tools at the local swap meet. All suspects are currently on felony probation.
All four suspects were transported and booked at the Palmdale Sheriff Station:
Jose Rodriguez was booked on charges of possession of a “Billy club”, receiving stolen property, taking vehicle without owner’s consent, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and is currently being held on $25,000 bail with an arraignment date of 06-20-17.
Christian Crampes was booked on charges of receiving stolen property and is currently being held on $20,000 bail with an arraignment date of 06-20-17.
Janeth Sanchez was booked on charges of receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools and is currently being held on $20,000 bail with an arraignment date of 06-20-17.
