South Brunswick Independence Day Celebration June 30th – Fireworks at 9:15pm

South Brunswick's Independence Day Celebration will be held on Friday, June 30. This free event will have live music, food vendors, and fireworks. This year will again see the return of the "The Time Machine," an 18-piece band that will be playing music from the 1960s through the present. The event is annually one of the largest Township sponsored gatherings.

The celebration will take place from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the fields of Crossroads Middle School. The school is located on the corner of Major Road and Kingston Lane.

South Brunswick Police are advising residents that there will be increased traffic in and around the school and surrounding neighborhoods. The streets of Major Road, Kingston Lane and Georges Road will have increased pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Officers will be stationed in and around the event to assist with traffic issues. There will be no parking allowed on Major Road near the school. Police anticipate the greatest volume of traffic between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
