Jackson Police Officer Royal Cole won a Glock 43 pistol at the Jackson Police Department's employee picnic.
Recently, Chief Wiser hosted a Department Employee Picnic Luncheon Friday June 16, 2017. All personnel of the Jackson Police Department (civilian and sworn - on or off duty) were invited to attend and fellowship together.
The Chief gave away a new Glock 43 9mm pistol to a sworn officer. In addition, four (4) civilian employees had a chance to win gift cards. In order to win, you had to attend the luncheon.
The Captain Jack Holland Detachment of the Marine Corps League donated their time grilling and providing the meal. The meal and opportunity to win the Glock or the gift cards were FREE for all employees. They only had to come by, enjoy the food, and the camaraderie.
