Water Valve Testing and Exercising East of Animas River 6/15/2017 
The Public Works Department will be testing water valves on the 12-inch water main in Blanco near Main Ave between 11 am and 2:00 pm today as part of a preliminary investigation to removing and replacing part of the water main on Friday, June 23, 2017. The water valve exercising should not disrupt service for longer than a few minutes as we determine the correct valves to close the main off where the replacement will take place between the 2 museum buildings on Main.
The PW Dept asks for your indulgence during this important water valve test and exercising so the water main replacement will go smoothly.
Affected customers may want to take remedial measures in advance. These precautionary plans could include stocking up on drinking water and storage of water in containers to use to flush your toilet.
