Controlled Burn at St Vincent's Today & Tomorrow 
We'd like to alert you to a controlled burn scheduled for 10am to 4pm today & tomorrow (Thurs June 15 & Fri June 16) in a remote area between St Vincent's property in northeast San Rafael and the southern edge of Novato near the Marin Valley Mobile Country Club.
The burn is a training exercise for our 69 seasonal-hire personnel as they prepare for battling wildfires throughout the state. This will be the first burn for 30 of them.
We end these alerts because anybody in the area might see or smell smoke and we'd like to cut down on emergency calls to our dispatchers.
