Synopsis: A 43 year old male was driving his Chevy flatbed truck westbound on Carmel Mountain Rd. A male driving a Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on Sparren Ave. The male was in the left turn pocket and he had a green light. As the male in the Toyota was making a left turn, the driver in the Chevy truck who was distracted, ran the red light, striking the driver of the Toyota. The driver of the Chevy sustained multiple internal injuries and was transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Traffic Division will be handling the investigation.
