On Thursday, June 09, 2017 at about 4:00 pm, Upland Police Officers responded to a warehouse for a suspicious circumstances call involving narcotic activity. The officers conducted an initial investigation and determined a large marijuana grow operation was likely. Assistance was requested from the joint Ontario Upland Narcotics Task Force who responded and took over the investigation. The investigation resulted in the seizure of over 16,000 marijuana plants. The amount of marijuana seized suggests the plants were for-profit operations being sold illegally on the street and in dispensaries.
