*Update* #LASD Homicide Assisting Monterey Park PD in Stabbing Investigation, 1200 blk College View Dr, Monterey Park
 
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) Homicide Bureau detectives are assisting Monterey Park PD regarding the stabbing death of a male Hispanic adult that occurred on the 1200 block of College View Drive in Monterey Park on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at approximately 12:30 AM.
 
Detective have learned that Monterey Park Police Department Officers responded to the 1200 block of College View Drive regarding an Assault with a Deadly Weapon call.  Upon their arrival, Officers discovered a male Hispanic adult who sustained multiple stab wounds to his upper body.  The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
 
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with two other male Hispanic adults regarding a parking space.  During the course of the argument, a physical altercation occurred in which the victim was stabbed.
 
All involved parties have been detained pending an interview from Homicide Detectives.
 
No other suspects are sought at this time.
 
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are assisting Monterey Park Police Department with a stabbing death investigation. The incident occurred on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at approximately 12:25 a.m. on the 1200 Block of College View Drive, Monterey Park.

The male adult victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
